In the field of aggregate development, we design combustion engines, mechanical transmissions and chassis parts. Our engine developers prepare conceptual designs of engines, solve their installation, come up with a new design solution, create drawing documentation, guide changes and provide prototypes. In the development of gearboxes, we deal primarily with the design and testing of mechanical transmissions and gear shifts. We perform driving tests on a polygon where we use our own measuring equipment. Our technicians are thus able to evaluate the shifting comfort as well as the entire gearbox based on the measurements made. We also participate in the serial accompaniment of mechanical transmissions for other VW Group branches around the world.

Since 2017, in cooperation with Škoda Auto, we offer service in the field of mechanical transmissions. In the area of gearbox development, this includes conceptual designs, serial accompaniment, documentation creation and communication with suppliers. We are also responsible for performing functional and long-term tests of gearboxes (winter/summer), accompanying and operating service of test benches and construction of prototype gearboxes. We use our equipment to assess mechanical shifting in terms of acoustics, torques and shift comfort. Our measurement engineers evaluate shifting functionality in driving tests in all weather conditions.
